Thursday, September 30 | Marquette | No Registration Fee

4:00 PM - 7:00 PM Bike Ride and Pecha Kucha

Meet at the Ishpeming City Hall and ride 3.8 miles to Negaunee for dinner and pecha kucha at Jackson's Pit.  Register below.


Thursday, September 30 | Kalamazoo | No Registration Fee

5:00 PM - 6:00 PM Walking Tour | 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Network and Imbibe!

Join MAP and Kalamazoo City staff for a guided walking tour between and behind Downtown buildings. The tour will include traditional alley spaces converted to unique inviting public places and pedestrian passageways that link distinct sections of the Downtown. Be a part of the conversation, as the tour will also include areas slated for future improvements. Meet at Devisser Alley and the Kalamazoo Mall ( at the Fountain next to Gazelle Sports).  We’ll gather after the walking tour for food and drinks “on your own”, location for food and drinks dependent upon the weather.  Good weather spot: MOMA (Market on Michigan Ave).  So-so weather spot:  Kalamazoo Beer Exchange Register below.


 Friday, October 1 | City of Southfield  | No Registration Fee

2:30 PM - 4:30 PM Presentation and Evergreen Centre Walking Tour | 4:30 PM - 6:00 PM Network and Imbibe!

Brief presentation followed by a walking tour and Hear all about the changes Southfield has made to its city center along with the walking trail that connects all of these amenities. The City of Southfield will begin with a short presentation at 3 PM and then head out onto the trail. Here you will discover bike stations, art installations, outdoor wildlife interpretive rooms, benches, and much more. Afterwards, planners can grab a bite or wet their whistle at Starters Bar & Grill. Register below.


Saturday, October 2 | Ann Arbor | $30 fee or $20 each for double kayak

12:30 PM - 3:00 PM | Kayak trip 3.7-mile, 1.5-hour Argo to Gallup River Trip (rain date October 3rd)

We will start at the Argo Livery with a van ride back at the end of your trip. Paddle kayaks down the Argo Cascade rapids and on down the beautiful Huron River in Ann Arbor. You may choose to register for a single person kayak or a double person kayak.  If you are registering for a double kayak please register one person and add the second person in that portion of the registration form. Come join the Treeline Conservancy and City of Ann Arbor staff to learn about what’s in the works for the Treeline. We will meet near Depot St. and North Fifth Avenue, at the opening of the newly completed railroad tunnel, where we will explore what is in store for the Treeline’s Argo Pond trailhead. Afterwards, we’ll head to Casey’s Tavern where food and beverages will be available for purchase. Register below.
