This workshop in Monroe will provide professional planners, elected and appointed municipal leaders, and other public servants with the tools, applications and best practices to empower intentional actions that will help your community mitigate the impacts of severe weather events through planning, policy, and regulatory solutions. The 4-module program builds on MAP’s Master Planning for Resilience curriculum that was offered in 2015, and takes a deeper dive into data collection techniques and methodologies; implementation through plans, policies and programs, and provides substantial opportunity for active learning, response, and interaction. 3.5 AICP CM Credits or 3.5 Master Citizen Planner CEU's.
